Unbearable Lightness Of Being

Life can really be so random sometimes, eh?

and i mean random.

So this is what it meant when it was said one has to 'die' in order to live again? To basically rock the boat, walk on water, take the risk and go for it? Even when I know hearts will be broken, words will be spoken, piercing one unconsciously, the faith that the healing comes after - healing that comes only through Christ our Lord - will prevail.

When one feels abandoned yet continues to trust him, he worships him in the deepest way. God may kill me but still I will trust Him, Job said. And no matter how I feel, God is real. Hebrews 13:5.

One only sees what he is ready to see.

Hebrews 3:12-14

So watch your step, friends. Make sure there's no evil unbelief lying around that will trip you up and throw you off course, diverting you from the living God. For as long as it's still God's Today, keep each other on your toes so sin doesn't slow down your reflexes. If we can only keep our grip on the sure thing we started out with, we're in this with Christ for the long haul.

These words keep ringing in our ears:

Today, please listen;
don't turn a deaf ear as in the bitter uprising.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

There is a time for everything,

2 Corinthians 6

As God's fellow workers we urge you not to receive God's grace in vain. For he says,

Paul's Hardships

We put no stumbling block in anyone's path, so that our ministry will not be discredited. Rather, as servants of God we commend ourselves in every way: in great endurance; in troubles, hardships and distresses; in beatings, imprisonments and riots; in hard work, sleepless nights and hunger; in purity, understanding, patience and kindness; in the Holy Spirit and in sincere love; in truthful speech and in the power of God; with weapons of righteousness in the right hand and in the left; through glory and dishonor, bad report and good report; genuine, yet regarded as impostors; known, yet regarded as unknown; dying, and yet we live on; beaten, and yet not killed; sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; poor, yet making many rich; having nothing, and yet possessing everything.

¹¹We have spoken freely to you, Corinthians, and opened wide our hearts to you. We are not withholding our affection from you, but you are withholding yours from us. ¹³As a fair exchange—I speak as to my children—open wide your hearts also.

1 John 4:13:18

We know that we live in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in him and he in God. And so we know and rely on the love God has for us.
God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. In this way, love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment, because in this world we are like him. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
